Meet Our Team

Christopher C. Melton, Sr. is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The White Oak Group ("White Oak") and White Oak Guggenheim Capital Partners, LLC, and the General Partner of White Oak Investments, LLC, and White Oak SBIC, LLC. He also currently serves as Co-Chairman, Finance and Operations for EOIR Technologies and Mission Mobility. Mr. Melton has over 30 years of business experience with a particular emphasis on corporate turnarounds and business restructuring. Prior to the founding of White Oak, he was Chief Executive Officer of CNP, Inc., a business-to-business technology and service provider. Prior to his post at CNP, he was CEO of Amplified Holdings, a leading provider of digital technology to the retail and media industries. Prior to his positions at CNP and Amplified, Mr. Melton spent 19 years at IBM, where he served in numerous executive positions in sales, marketing, finance and operations in the Americas and the Asia Pacific region, including Chief Financial Officer for IBM's Asia Pacific Services Corporation and President of IBM Asia Pacific Investment Corporation. Prior to his departure from IBM, Mr. Melton served as the senior executive responsible for IBM's eCommerce business in the Americas for the Financial Services Industry.

Mr. Melton received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of South Alabama and has attended postgraduate education at Harvard University, Columbia University, Babson College and Thunderbird University. He serves on the Georgia Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, is a member of the Board of Directors for Business Executives for National Security, and serves on a number of other non-profit Boards.


Bill Arnold most recently spent 13 years as a Managing Principal with Towers Perrin Management Consultants ("Towers Perrin"). Mr. Arnold's focus was in Strategy and Organizational Design and Business Strategy in the banking, insurance and telecommunications industries. He also specialized in Risk Management, consulting globally for the transportation, banking, telecommunications and insurance industries, as well as for the 1996 Olympic Games held in Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to Towers Perrin Mr. Arnold was a Senior Manager with AmSouth Bank, NA, where he led the Information Systems Group (systems development and operations) and the Administrative Services Group (risk management, banking facilities, strategic planning, M&A execution, major project management, governmental relations and lending operations). In addition to his 12 years with AmSouth, Mr. Arnold also spent four years with First Commerce Corporation as the Chief Information Officer where he directed systems and programming management.

Mr. Arnold co-founded a financial services company and currently serves as its Vice Chairman.

Mr. Arnold holds degrees from Georgia Tech, LSU and Rutgers universities, and is a Certified Data Processor with a Certificate of Knowledge Engineering. He also served in the U.S. Army.


David W. Ingram is a Principal with The White Oak Group ("White Oak"). Mr. Ingram’s specialties include legal analysis and valuation of target companies and conducting due diligence. His responsibilities also include determining capital structures and coordinating debt facilities for portfolio companies. Mr. Ingram participates in financial forecasting, strategic planning and project consulting alongside portfolio management teams. In addition, he is part of White Oak’s shared services group which provides IT, HR, legal and accounting services to White Oak, its portfolio companies and other companies in the aerospace and defense industry. Prior to joining White Oak, he was co-founder and President of a multi-state marketing and finance company serving the independent home construction industry, General Counsel for a publicly traded software and electronic commerce company, and owned a private law practice in Hilton Head, SC, where he advised clients on matters related to real estate, corporate and intellectual property law.

Mr. Ingram received a Juris Doctor degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of South Carolina.

Reed A. Macdonald is a Principal with The White Oak Group ("White Oak"), which he joined in 2002. Mr. Macdonald's specialties include the financial analysis of target companies, company valuations, and leading due diligence. His responsibilities also include determining capital structures and the coordination of senior and subordinated debt facilities. Mr. Macdonald participates in financial forecasting, strategic planning and project consulting alongside portfolio management teams. In addition, he is part of White Oak’s shared services group providing financial and accounting services to White Oak, its portfolio companies and other companies in the aerospace and defense industry. Prior to White Oak, Mr. Macdonald was a partner with a manufacturing company where he was responsible for operations, business development and general management.

Mr. Macdonald received his Masters in Business Administration from Goizueta Business School at Emory University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University.


Theresa R. Pullega is the Financial Controller for The White Oak Group ("White Oak"), which she joined in 2006. Ms. Pullega’s responsibilities include the accounting, financial reporting, administrative controls and cash management for portfolio companies, as well as TLC. She also manages investor relations and associated reporting.

Ms. Pullega has more than 20 years of experience in accounting and finance. She has held senior financial and administrative positions for both public and private corporations. Most recently, she founded an accounting services organization. Prior to that, she was a partner in an engineering and manufacturing services company where she was responsible for finance, accounting and human resources. She has also led post merger integration services for a roll up in a publicly held corporation.

Ms. Pullega received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Northeastern Illinois University.


Dennis B. Hinton is an Associate with The White Oak Group which he joined in 2011. Mr. Hinton assists the company in both its business and legal affairs. Specifically, he specializes in financial modeling, all phases of due diligence, portfolio company management and legal analysis.

Prior to joining the company, Mr. Hinton held Summer Associate positions with The White Oak Group and also with a southeastern based boutique investment banking firm.

Mr. Hinton received a JD/MBA from the University of Alabama. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Alabama.
