DataPath Acquires the Assets of M&C Systems

Extends DataPath's Satellite Earth Terminal Network and System Management Capabilities

DULUTH, Ga. - June 13, 2005 - DataPath, Inc., a global telecommunications systems integrator, today announced that it has acquired the assets of M&C Systems, Inc., a leading provider of satellite communications monitoring and control systems.

With the acquisition, DataPath gains new control and monitoring systems capabilities for satellite earth terminals, transportables, Very Small Aperture Terminals (VSATs) and Telemetry Tracking and Control (TT&C). DataPath will draw on these technologies to expand its end-to-end satellite earth terminal network and system management offerings, enhancing its ability to support heterogeneous earth terminal networks.

In concurrent releases today, DataPath announced that the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command in Fort Monmouth , N.J. has awarded DataPath a $17.5 million firm-fixed-price, sole source contract (W15P7T-05-C-G204) for 14 Joint Network Node Satellite Communication Trailers and 38 Satellite Communication Battalion Command Post Node Trailers as well as the opening of its new corporate headquarters in Duluth , Ga.
