Miller Industries Announces DataPath Project

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee, November 9, 2004-- Miller Industries, Inc. (NYSE: MLR)("the Company") began a project with DataPath, Inc., a provider of satellite communications, based in Norcross, Georgia for whom Miller Industries, Inc. provided services for completion of twenty-five mobile communication trailers. DataPath, Inc. is a company in which Miller Industries, Inc.'s chairman and one of its directors hold a minority equity interest and on whose board they also serve. This arrangement was approved by the disinterested members of the Audit Committee. Upon successful completion of that project, DataPath, Inc., engaged Miller Industries, Inc. to provide both design and engineering to assist in the redesign of the unit.

If this redesign effort is successful, the Company will manufacture one hundred forty-five mobile communication trailers during the first half of 2005. Although final pricing terms have not been negotiated, total revenue to the Company from these one hundred forty-five additional units is estimated to be in excess of $6 million.
